Wat Pa Sak

One of the best preserved temples in Chiang Saen, Wat Pa Sak is located right down the street from our house in Chiang Saen.  Wat Pa Sak is actually a historical park, with the ruins of seven monuments found within this park.  This historical park is surrounded by teak trees and set back from the main road.  As a result, it is an extremely peaceful and relaxing place to visit.

The main chedi, built around 1319.

Surrounded by teak trees, Wat Pa Sak is an extremely peaceful place to visit.
Beautiful stucco work on the chedi.

The different ruins are scattered throughout the verdant historical park.
An image of a Buddha, found on the historical park.
Offerings to the Buddha are placed in front of the image.
